PSOA Social Meeting - April

The April social meeting will be on Saturday 23rd April 2022, and will include our General Meeting. 

Reminder that this meeting returns to the seasonal start time of 3pm, and the date has been moved a week later from the calendar listed date due to Easter.

Presentation - Diana Prada

Animetics is owned by Diana Prada, who is a Molecular Ecologist and has several years of experience working with DNA and wildlife. During her career Diana has had extensive experience in DNA extraction, amplification and analysis. She has been involved in projects that use molecular techniques to achieve wildlife conservation outcomes and developed molecular tools to assist breeding programs of endangered avian species.

Diana has held positions in both research and commercial laboratories in New Zealand and Australia and has acquired further training from similar facilities in Canada and the USA. Most recently, she completed her PhD on disease ecology, which explored the viral diversity of Western Australian microbats.

Please join us at Parrot Supplies Australia in Slacks Creek from 3pm for the meeting. The store will be open from 9am on the day. There will also be Raffles and a Lucky Door Prize. 

We will include light refreshments and a BBQ.
