Our bi-monthly magazine Parrot Society of Australia News holds pride of place as the Society's newsletter. A dedicated editorial staff of volunteer society members aim to produce a quality publication that covers not only breeding and species-related articles, but information on companion parrot care and veterinary advice from qualified avian vets as well. We are extremely proud of our publication that serves to inform the membership of the latest in avicultural trends pertaining to parrots as well as disseminating important club information. To our knowledge, PSOA News is the only A4, 52 page, full-colour, high-gloss, professional club magazine for parrots anywhere in the world; quite an achievement for any aviculture club.

Contributions to PSOA News are always welcome - whether you are a Member or not. Each issue is professionally constructed using the latest software and graphic artist tools to give your contribution that special edge above any other club publication. Members are encouraged to provide articles for the magazine and share the wealth of knowledge they possess for the benefit of aviculture.

Article submissions are best supplied as Word documents via email to editor@parrotsociety.org.au with any supporting photographs at high resolution.

One of the most popular sections of the magazine is Avi-Trade, a comprehensive list of birds for sale, wanted or exchange. This service is free to members, and has proven to be a highly effective way of obtaining that special bird you have been chasing.
