Parrots 2008 Aviary Tour

Join us for a tour of some of our member's extensive aviary collections. See how they manage their parrots and learn about the species they keep first hand. You will be transported in an air-conditioned coach from the convention venue for your comfort for a full day's excursion. The price includes morning and afternoon teas as well as lunch. Onboard raffles and giveaways add to the atmosphere for a fun parrot day out. Numbers are strictly limited, so book your seat early to avoid disappointment.
 

‘Wild Experience' Tour

This is another first for Parrots 2008 and promises to be a unique day out for the most adventurous of aviculturists. Under the guidance of Jim McKendry, you will be escorted through up-close-and-personal encounters with wild Australian King Parrots and Crimson Rosellas at the world famous O'Reilly's Mountain Rainforest Escape. After morning tea at the magnificent O'Reilly's Lodge we'll travel down to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary for an afternoon exploration of the bird collection and the chance to feed wild flocks of Rainbow and Scaly-breasted Lorikeets. Travel will be in an air-conditioned people mover. Seats are limited to just 20 people, so be quick to secure yours today!
