Another first for Parrots 2008 and Australian avicultural conventions is the Fledglings Junior Workshop. Designed specifically for students aged 9 – 16 years, this unique workshop supports the Parrot Society of Australia's commitment to engaging young people in aviculture. Presented by our Fledglings publication team, Nicholas Bishop and Shane Hancock, it promises to be a fun learning experience for any young aviculturist interested in keeping parrots and learning practical knowledge.
The morning will be split into two presentations:
-
Session One will focus on bird ownership basics and best practice techniques to ensure that each participant is exposed to sound advice to progress their hobby.
-
Session Two is a hands-on practical training workshop with live parrots to demonstrate the participant's knowledge of positive reinforcement training techniques.

Guaranteed excellent value for money at $25 per registration, this workshop will provide hours of fun and avicultural education with professional presenters. Places are strictly
limited to 18 registrations – so be quick! |
